Kantar BrandZ 2025: Most Valuable Global Brands
The top 100 most valuable brands grew to a record $10.7T in 2025 — outpacing the S&P 500 by more than 2× over two decades.
Kantar's BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2025 ranking valued the top 100 brands at a combined $10.7 trillion, a 29% year-on-year increase and the largest single-year jump the study has recorded. Apple, NVIDIA and Microsoft topped the list, with NVIDIA the fastest riser on the back of AI infrastructure demand.
Over the 20-year history of BrandZ, the Top 100 has delivered a 380% return — more than double the S&P 500 over the same window. Strong brands compound: they raise pricing power, lower customer-acquisition cost, and stabilise revenue through downturns.
The 2025 edition flags a clear divergence: brands investing in 'meaningful difference' (a measure of perceived distinctiveness and relevance) grew their value seven times faster than brands that did not.
