Consistent brand presentation increases revenue
Companies with consistent branding across touchpoints see an average 23% revenue uplift.
Lucidpress (now Marq) surveyed hundreds of organisations and found that consistent brand presentation across all touchpoints — sales decks, social posts, packaging, signage, email — correlated with a 23% increase in revenue on average.
Inconsistency has a cost: brand recognition slows, sales teams improvise, and creative teams spend disproportionate time policing minor deviations rather than producing new work. A clearly governed identity system is the cheapest growth lever most companies ignore.
Governance does not mean rigidity. The strongest brand systems define a fixed core (logo, palette, typography, voice) and a flexible periphery (campaign expression, channel-specific formats). Lock the core, free the edges.
