Jacob Standen is a dynamic professional with a diverse background in business and academics. Born and raised in Calgary, Jacob’s journey began with a passion for hockey, which led him to leave home at a young age to pursue his career in the sport. This dedication was rewarded with a scholarship to Wilfrid Laurier University, where he pursued a double major in Political Science and Global Studies.

Following this chapter, Jacob moved to Vancouver, where he established a highly successful direct sales home detailing business. This venture not only achieved multiple six-figure revenues annually, but also allowed Jacob to mentor dozens of sales representatives, and oversee thousands of jobs across the lower mainland. His leadership and entrepreneurial skills were pivotal in the growth and success of the business.

After several years of running his company, Jacob’s career took a new turn. Before joining Evolve Branding, he made the decision to return to academia, this time with a focus on financial planning. His diverse experiences, ranging from sports, entrepreneurship, sales, and now financial planning, underscore his adaptability and commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
